Groundzman was commissioned to upgrade an existing patio area, aiming to add character and charm to the property. The existing patio lacked aesthetic appeal and did not complement the property’s style. Our goal was to use stunning old style porcelain tiles combined with natural tumbled sandstone cobbles to create a patio that seamlessly integrates with and enhances the overall character of the property.

Scope of Work:

1. Removal of Existing Patio:

The project began with the removal of the old patio materials. We carefully dismantled the existing structure, ensuring a clean slate for the new installation.

2. Base Preparation:

The ground was prepared with meticulous attention to detail. This included levelling and compacting the base to provide a solid foundation for the new tiles and cobbles, ensuring longevity and stability.

3. Installation of Old Style Porcelain Tiles:

We laid the old style porcelain tiles with precision, creating a visually striking and durable surface. The tiles were chosen for their classic, timeless look, which adds elegance and sophistication to the patio area.

4. Integration of Natural Tumbled Sandstone Cobbles:

To enhance the character of the patio, we incorporated natural tumbled sandstone cobbles into the design. These cobbles were used to create beautiful borders and accents, adding texture and visual interest to the space.

5. Finishing Touches:

The project was completed with detailed grouting and sealing to protect the tiles and cobbles. We also ensured that the entire area was cleaned and polished, ready for the clients to enjoy.
